Back from Infocomm....
Last week was Educomm and Infocomm, and I spent every day from early morning until late at night in press conferences, meetings, receptions, dinners and the like. It was product overload! A great conference but a bit overwhelming, with 30,000 people attending and all. Overall, in ed tech I'd say it was more of an evolutionary show than a revolutionary one, lots of developments of existing products, new features, tweaks and enhancements. Casio debuted a new family of projectors, for example (pictured), including LED and short throw models. A lot of talk about 3D in the classroom, but time will tell if this is a fad or something lasting and genuine...
